Remains
What Remains? What remains after an intimate moment? Details fade, yet presence lingers. Remains is a contemplation on memory, intimacy, and loss. It asks: what do we do with the fragments that now remain within us?
Impressions of body parts are cast from fabric; with each tear and fold, they inevitably distort before being reassembled into forms that resemble a body.
Memory is understood as fragments of presence. We gather them into an uneasy union. They inhabit us, and through them, those that are absent participate in our becoming.
